The Event
Heineken approached SENSE to create a launch party for their latest national television marketing campaign. The new campaign was critically important for the brand, the first to be rolled out nationally in the past three years.
The Idea
The television campaign focused on Heineken being so authentic it can’t be faked. Extending on the campaign’s concept of authenticity, SENSE decided to give the audience ‘an artificial taste of the virtual world’.
Characters from the ad were brought to life with professionally trained actors, costumes, make up and detailed written scripts by SENSE producers. Actors mingled with guests, amazed to be out of their ‘virtual’ world and have the opportunity to visit the ‘real’ world. Guests were served artificial ‘Unreal’ beer and food (as well as real food of course!) and used fake money to purchase drinks from the bar with DJ Somatik performing for the crowd.

Guests danced the night away into the small hours…what more could you ask for!
